Solution
KMG developed a web based MIS system. It extracted the data from the POS installed at the shops and uploaded the data at the FTP locations. Then it validated the data and imported it into the main reporting engine. A web-site like interface enabled the marketing staff to log from anywhere (even cyber-cafes) and view the latest reports. These reports could be viewed on-screen, printed and exported to PDF/ Excel formats. It allowed the export of even the underlying data.
