Solution
KMG developed a travel portal for the client; it was a customized search engine with page parsing capabilities. This engine submitted the search parameters to various sites, parsed the results from the pages returned by these sites, collated the results in a database & displayed as required.

Project Description
The client wanted to build a travel portal targeted at the corporate clients. The employees of these clients should be able to search the internet for the best deals for air-fare, hotels, car rentals, cruises etc. The search should be real-time, should cover the top 5-6 travel sites like orbitz, travelocity etc. and should be displayed in 17 languages.

Major Issues / Challenges
The constant updation of the portal posed a challenge with addition of data extraction, new sites & features. It included new sites providing online data for air fare, hotel tariff, car rental, cruises fare, vacations, shopping etc.
